Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to setup the MindwaveBot<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you need a Mindwave account to use this MindwaveBot. <a href=\"https:\/\/mindwave.app\/signup\/yearly\">Sign up here<\/a> if you don&#8217;t have an account yet, and make sure you&#8217;re <strong>logged in<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then we need to connect your Mindwave with your Telegram account.<br>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/mindwavebot\">@MindwaveBot<\/a> and type <strong>\/pair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll receive a link from the Bot. <strong>Click the link<\/strong> to pair your accounts.<br>Mindwave.app will confirm the pairing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your accounts are now paired and the MindwaveBot is ready for usage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Check your Timezone<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you proceed with the MindwaveBot, please make sure your Mindwave account had the correct <strong>Timezone<\/strong>. We suggest enabling notifications for @MindwaveBot so you&#8217;ll get the best experience with scheduled messages and reminders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>How to use the MindwaveBot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main functions, and therefore commands, are <strong>\/log<\/strong>, <strong>\/tome<\/strong>, <strong>\/futureme<\/strong> and <strong>\/remind<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s go over them in more detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>\/log to save a message in your Mindwave journal<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Messages starting with <strong>\/log<\/strong> will be saved in your <a href=\"https:\/\/mindwave.app\/log\">Mindwave log<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"566\" height=\"96\" src=\"https:\/\/mindwave.app\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/CleanShot-2021-02-17-at-09.13.07.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-715\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindwave.app\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/CleanShot-2021-02-17-at-09.13.07.png 566w, https:\/\/mindwave.app\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/CleanShot-2021-02-17-at-09.13.07-300x51.png 300w, https:\/\/mindwave.app\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/CleanShot-2021-02-17-at-09.13.07-100x17.png 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll receive a confirmation from the MindwaveBot with a link to this specific message. Your message is stored privately and encrypted in your Mindwave. So only you can read it, not even us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also add one <strong>Image<\/strong>, <strong>Audio<\/strong>, or <strong>Video<\/strong> file to your message. Please make sure the file&#8217;s <strong>caption starts with \/log<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>\/tome to send a message to the future you<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use the MindwaveBot to send messages to the future you. Add the frequency [daily], [weekly] or [monthly] to your message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\/tome [2021-02-17 17:00][daily] What are you grateful for? <\/strong><br><br>You can also add one Image, Audio, or Video file to your scheduled message. You can delete a message by typing \/futureme followed by your message-id. To delete message #5 you&#8217;ll type <strong>\/futureme 5<\/strong>.<br><br>Note: there is no edit option (yet). You have to delete and add a new message if you want to edit one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>\/remind to receive your journaling prompt as reminder<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With \/tome you can setup any reminder yourself. But some prefer to receive the daily prompt as reminder. This is especially helpful if you have &#8216;<strong>Random Questions<\/strong>&#8216; as your daily prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the bot you can turn the reminder on or off.
