The baby camel asked his mom, \u201cWhy do we have these big bumps on our back?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The mom stopped to think and then said, \u201cWe live in the desert where there is not much water available. Our humps store water to help us survive on long journeys. \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The baby camel then stopped to think and said, \u201cWell, why do we have long legs with rounded feet?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>His mother replied, \u201cThey are meant to help us walk through sand.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The baby asked a third question, \u201cWhy are my eyelashes so long?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The mother replied, \u201cYour long eyelashes offer you protection from sand when it blows in the wind.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Finally, the baby said,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cIf we have all of these natural abilities given to us to walk through the desert, what\u2019s the use for camels in the Zoo?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The skills and abilities that you possess won\u2019t be useful if you\u2019re not in the right environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Which of your talents is being wasted?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>What skills are most valuable in your current environment?<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A mother camel and her baby were lying down, soaking up the sun.
